SCSC is a vibrant community, a forum created by theIT / ITES industry and Cyberabad Police Commissionerate to take care of Safety and Security at Cyberabad.l SCSC was formed in the year 2006 as a collaborative body between Industry & Govt to work on Safety,Security & Business continuity in Cyberabad areal Key objective is to partner for a safe & secure eco systeml Proven PPP model between Cyberabad Police and Industry and an unique initiative in the countryl Not for profit organizationl Safety and Security of Women - High priority with special focus on Crime prevention thru’ Surveillance,Patrolling & Awarenessl 6 Industry Verticals & 4 SME Horizontals (Women safety, Road Safety, Security & Cyber Security)l This model was emulated by Hyderabad & Rachakonda CommissionerateSCSC is a unique initiative to promote awareness on personal safety and security, reduce crime, and worktowards enhancing safety and security in the IT Corridor, making this business bio-network a safe IT destinationin the world through robust surveillance systems and patrolling. The Council gives high priority to personalsafety in general and women safety in particular, IT Infrastructure Safety, Traffic Safety, Cyber Safety andInformation Security, so that the business continuity takes place in a healthy living environment. Most decisionmakers and investors in the industry would give priority to the mentioned factors.At SCSC we have four forums which are active and they are as follows:1) Women’s Forum: The proactive forum which is the touch base for addressing issues related to women safetyand security, works with member business entities for collectively and cohesively arriving at solutions forworking issues in IT corridor. l Engage with the Industry and Government bodies on issues related to women safety and security inCyberabad Area. l Empower women in Cyberabad, specifically employees working in the industry sectors to manage andrespond effectively to issues of safety and security l Be self-reliant in issues of safety and security2) Safety and Security Forum: The strategic forum to conduct risk assessment and threat analysis, functionsas an agency to mitigate issues pertaining to safety and security at multi-levels. l Security awareness programs l Mock drills in co-ordination with the department l Security audits l Emergency Response Procedures3) Cyber Security Forum : l Conducts awareness sessions for the staff for orgnaizations, community and educational institutions l Conducts annual events for sharing international best practices and methods4) Traffic Forum:This forum which is the spearhead for traffic safety and security, where anybody from the member companiescan participate and contribute l Citizen Inclusivity (Volunteers) l Private Transport Controls l Road Safety Awareness l Cab & Auto Drivers Sensitization l Saviour Programme5) Keeping in view the presence of major industries in Cyberabad and to focus on even growth, the additionalverticals are formed by SCSC:1) Pharma & Health Sciences 2) Manufacturing 3) Hospitality4) Health Care 5) Infra DevelopersPlease visit our website to know more about scscscsc.in
